Firstly I would like to remind you that you only have until the 5th of November if you wish to enter the US Green Card Lottery.

Additionally, If you have a professional level job offer for the US you should seriously consider the H-1B visa. There are still more than fifteen thousand visas left on the cap.

Firstly, If you are interested in immigration to an English-speaking country you should consider immigration to Australia or Canada.  Australia has severe skills shortages in many areas so there are plenty of opportunities for tradespeople and professional level employees. Canada is also a great option, however, unless you have an occupation on the Canadian skilled worker occupation list you will probably need to have a job offer first.

Firstly, I remind you that UK immigration’s shortage occupation list changes for the Tier 2 immigration route is now in effect. The changes affect those applying for Tier 2 visas and goes into effect beginning 14 November. The following occupations are now removed from the list: secondary education biology teachers, speech and language therapists, pharmacists, orthoptists, veterinary surgeons, rank and file orchestral musicians, actuaries, high integrity pipe welders, environmental scientists, and geochemists.

Firstly, applicants looking to apply for UK family based immigration should consider applying soon. The Migration Advisory Committee, the UK government's advisors on immigration policy, has recommended an increase in minimum salary requirements to bring a spouse to the UK. If approved, the changes could cut the number of family visa applications by up to two-thirds.

Firstly, Australian Immigration has announced this week that they will implement a new visa fee system starting 1 January 2012. Student visa application fees will decrease by 5 percent while fees for a range of Skills and Business immigration visas will increase by between 5 percent and 15 percent.

If you are interested in immigrating to Australia - you should apply now and avoid the visa fee increases!
