The United States has begun accepting applications for the DV-2013 Green Card Lottery. Applications will continue to be accepted until 5 November 2011.

Each year, the United States makes 55,000 visas available to people born in countries with low levels of immigration into the US. Winners are selected in a random basis; You can then apply for a permanent residence visa for the US.

Firstly we remind you that you only have three weeks left if you wish to enter the US Green Card Lottery. The entry period ends on 2 November 2011.

If you are interested in Canadian immigration you should note that visas for Pharmacists and Restaurant Managers under the Skilled worker category are rapidly being used up.  You should apply soon if you wish to emigrate under one of these occupations to Canada.

One immigration option for the EU that most people have not thought of, but may be worth considering is the EU Blue Card scheme.  A number of EU Countries now allow skilled immigration under the EU Blue Card scheme.
