We remind everyone that the work visa ban started at 12:01am US EDT 24 June 2020.   You will still be able to apply for a work visa petition at USCIS after the “ban”.

At the time of writing there has been no further news on the temporary “work visa ban”.  The last time that there was a Trump “visa ban” on 22 April 2020 affecting some immigrant visa "Green Card" applications made from overseas, the restrictions were not as great as expected.

There are continuing reports that a temporary work visa ban is about to happen.  There had been speculation that Donald Trump would announce details of the "work visa ban" at the Tulsa, Oklahoma Rally of 20 June 2020.  This did not happen.
